What is PersonalInformation and why do we collect it from website users?

Personal information is any information or opinion in which an individual can be identified. The type of information collected when an individual visits our website includes log data: IP addresses, browser type, access times; usage data: pages visited, links clicked and demographic information: age range, gender and geographic data. Personal information is also collected and retained when an individual submits an enquiry form via our website.

The reasonwe collect this information is to optimise our website content and design toensure we effectively engage with our target audience.

In addition to our website, the main ways in which we collect personal information as a company are:

We do not ordinarily collect sensitive information. Where we do, it will be used by us only with your consent for the purpose specified or where required or authorised by law.

Security of PersonalInformation

We will ensure personal information is stored in a manner that reasonably protects it from misuse and loss and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. We handle Personal Information in the following primary ways as part of our operations and business activities.

Microsoft 365

We use Microsoft 365 to perform our work, which includes handling documents and correspondence that contain Personal Information. We only use the following products and services :Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, Planner and Office.

When personal information is no longer needed for the purpose, it was obtained, we will take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify it. However, most of the personal information is or will be stored in files which will be kept by us for a maximum period of five years.

Access to your PersonalInformation

You may access the Personal Information we hold about you and to update it, correct it or request its deletion, subject to certain exceptions.

Maintaining the Quality ofyour Personal Information

We will take reasonable steps to make sure that your Personal Information is accurate, complete and up to date. If you find that the information, we have is inaccurate, please advise us as soon as possible so we can update our records.

Function and performance of the ServiceGen website

When you use our website, we collect information to improve the performance of the site and our services. This data includes details of the links clicked, search terms, navigation details, browser type and other use data collected and collated with Google Analytics. This information is deidentified and is used to understand how people use the site and how we can improve the service. Google Analytics data is stored in the cloud protected by encryption and restricted user access. You may choose to turn off this feature by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on launch.
